When the accident prone, inept Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society receives an unexpected financial legacy, the amateur group decides to put the windfall to good use. But when they attempt to put on a complicated 1920s murder mystery play, all hell lets loose. Everything that can possibly go wrong does so, to hilarious effect, and audiences find the resulting chaos so funny that the entire theatre ends up in complete, total, happy disarray, night after night. So Camps Bay is sure to see people streaming out of the theatre grinning from ear to ear and wiping their eyes! Will the players manage to get everything sorted out before the final curtain rises? Tickets booked on-line or through the Computicket Call Centre must be collected from a Computicket, Shoprite, Checkers or Checkers Hyper, House and Home or at selected OK Furniture and Usave stores, at least 3 hours before the show.  After that time, they will only be available at the venue box office which opens at least 1 hour before the show starts. Credit card used to make the booking must be presented when collecting tickets.
Refunds And Cancellations
You may cancel any booking submitted to us for tickets that have not yet been issued to you at any time prior to the date of the event to which such booking pertains by sending a cancellation notice to info@computicket.com or calling our Customer Care Centre on +27 (0)11 340 8000 or 0861 915 8000. You may also cancel and return any issued tickets acquired from us at any time prior to the scheduled date of the event to which they apply by handing in your tickets at any of our Money Market kiosks. My name is Asher Lev is a play written by Aaron Posner, adapted from the best-selling novel by Chaim Patok. It follows the story of Asher Lev who grew up as a "Torah Jew" in post-war Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Ticket Collection
Tickets booked on-line or through the Computicket Call Centre must be collected from a Computicket, Shoprite, Checkers or Checkers Hyper, House and Home or at selected OK Furniture and Usave stores, at least 3 hours before the show.  After that time, they will only be available at the venue box office which opens at least 1 hour before the show starts. Credit card used to make the booking must be presented when collecting tickets.
Refunds And Cancellations
Allowed, however cancellation fees will be deducted as determined by the Event Organiser. Please see Terms & Conditions on http://www.computicket.com
Following receipt of your booking cancellation or returned tickets, we will refund you the face value paid for the relevant tickets (or, if a discounted ticket, then instead the discounted ticket price paid), provided that reasonable cancellation charges as determined by the Event Organiser may be charged and deducted from such refund. Unless otherwise stipulated by the Event Organiser and depending on the prevailing circumstances the following cancellation charges may apply:
1) If the cancellation occurs more than 30 days prior to the event a 15% cancellation fee will apply;
2) If the cancellation occurs less than 30 but more than 7 days prior to the event a 50% cancellation fee will apply;
3) If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days prior to the event a 100% cancellation fee will apply;
- Notwithstanding the aforesaid, if you can provide us with suitable documentary proof that a person in whose name a ticket was booked will not be able to attend the event because of his/her death and/or hospitalisation, no cancellation fee will apply in respect of the cancellation of such person`s ticket

Venue has the facility for only ONE wheelchair in every performance. ALL BOOKINGS FOR WHEELCHAIRS MUST BE DONE DIRECTLY THROUGH THE THEATRE'S BOX OFFICE ON 021 438 3300/1.Venue only has ONE disabled parking bay in Link Street and the ramp entrance to the theatre is on the side of the building. Description
Santa's Story is a moving, one woman show depicting Santa Pelham’s journey of courage, hope and inspiration through discrimination to heart breaking losses - a triumph of the human spirit.
When 90 year old Santa Pelham  was persuaded to write her fascinating life story it was intended that her memoir would be there for future generations. Santa's Story became something more: a cathartic experience, an inspiration for song and now, a one-woman show performed by her daughter, Opera Diva, Aviva Pelham. Aviva brings the moving text to life detailing her Mother’s journey from Germany, to Spain, to France and then to Africa - punctuated by wonderful live Klezmer music. 3 superb Klezmer musicians play 7 instruments with songs in Spanish, French, Hebrew, Yiddish and English. The production is a theatrical gem and has played to sold out seasons with standing ovations at every performance in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Helsinki, London, Cologne and Huerth (Santa's birthplace). Santa's Story was invited to be part of the First International Yiddish Folksbiene Festival in New York  in 2015. Although Santa's Story is a personal one, it honours the millions of people who were murdered mercilessly in the Holocaust and really deserves to be seen. It is a meaningful and unforgettable story of courage, hope, survival, inspiration and one very special woman.
Originally directed by multi-award winning Janice Honeyman with designs by the acclaimed Mannie Manim and the late Dicky Longhurst, Santa's Story  will be performed at Theatre on the Bay from 10th - 15th October 2017 before going on tour to Australia.
